Sage Funk, Neuro Transformational Coach

Certified Brainspotting Therapist

Practice Care Coordinator

Do you ever struggle to process the world around you? When overwhelmed do you catch yourself “zoning out” or becoming irritable? Have you ever found yourself passing up opportunities you would encourage friends/family to pursue? All of these situations are common for most, however, they do not have to be.

My name is Sage Funk. I am a distinguished Neuro Transformational Coach and trained Brainspotter who is passionate about elevating mental health to the same level of significance as physical well-being.

I graduated in 2019 from Texas State University, majoring in Criminal Justice while also achieving a minor in Forensic Psychology. My professional journey began in the realm of education as an elementary school teacher. This experience ignited my understanding of the profound impact of mental health on overall development. Currently, I am pursuing a Masters in Professional Counseling, through which I am committed to expanding my knowledge and skills to better serve individuals seeking holistic transformation.

At the heart of my mission is the intention to empower others by fostering self-assurance, alleviating stress and anxiety, and facilitating the healing process from past adversities. My compassionate approach is tailored individually to each of my clients to help those facing challenging emotional landscapes.

I am an avid advocate of inclusivity and acceptance, approaching every individual without judgment, fostering an environment where all are heard and valued. I believe in a world where mental health is increasingly recognized as fundamental to overall wellness. I believe we are able to meet the most elevated version of ourselves through understanding, guidance, and transformation. My holistic approach, underpinned by education, experience, and an open heart, epitomizes my dedication to uplifting those I serve on their journeys to personal growth and healing.

The journey of life leads us to places we never imagined.  The challenges of life are inevitable and unpredictable.  On this journey, we experience loss, hardship, sickness and day to day challenges that bring about stress, anxiety and depression.  These challenges have a way of paralyzing us and making us feel “stuck”.  However, we do not have to sit with our challenges, and allow them to consume us.    Counseling provides a safe space for you to share and discover your inner strength and peace as you work through the challenges of life.  As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, supervised by Dr. Audra Funk, I look forward to walking with you and supporting you as you navigate this journey, and help you experience emotional, mental, physical and spiritual wholeness.

Seeing a counselor can be an amazing step toward overall wellness. People pursue counseling for different reasons, but most commonly to help them deal with struggles, difficult transitions, and life challenges. Counseling provides a safe and interactive environment for exploring strong feelings and big emotions.

I have enormous compassion for people going through life challenges and enjoy working with those seeking support. Change can be difficult, but so can repeating old habits and carrying emotional baggage.

You do not have to start your journey alone. Wellness is just around the corner.

Hi, my name is Amanda Osowski. I am a born and raised Texan. Growing up, I was lucky enough to be influenced by several medical professionals through my close family and friends, and this taught me how important it is to take care of your physical health. Due to this influence, my career began in the healthcare industry working within hospitals and clinics. I loved the ability to help people; however, I quickly realized that the mind/brain needs as much care as the body. I decided to further my education to gain the experience needed to work in the mental health industry. I received my Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration in 2018 and my Master of Science in Christian Counseling in 2022. Both degrees are from a well-respected and accredited university in Arizona, Grand Canyon University, and allows me to merge my experiences.

I am a Texas Licensed Professional Counseling Associate, supervised by Audra Funk, LPC-S. Through my Masters degree, I am a certified Christian counselor, which allows me to incorporate Bible based counseling with clients who are interested in the Christian worldview approach. I am able to integrate Scripture within my sessions to deal with a client’s specific issues. Life can sometimes be traumatic, and I am passionate about helping those who have experienced any amount of trauma. I am a Certified Individual Clinical Trauma Specialist through the Trauma Institute International, and I am in the process of completing my certification in Brainspotting through the Pacific Counseling and Trauma Center.

My familiarity with the medical model and the mental health model has given me a unique approach with my clients. I am committed to providing a nonjudgmental and safe environment that promotes self-exploration, growth, and change. I believe that you, the client, are the expert in knowing what is best, and I strive to collaborate with you to achieve your goals. I have experience in working with adults dealing with a wide range of issues such as personal and interpersonal conflicts, marriage challenges, eating disorders, and more. Starting a therapeutic relationship can be scary, but I would love to partner with you to start on a path towards healing.

Congratulations on taking the first step of taking care of you! Self-care can take many forms, but did you know that addressing the stress, grief, depression, anxiety and trauma that paralyze you can be the ultimate form of self care? So many things can hold us back from being present in our daily lives. Even worse, they make us fearful of achieving our short and long term goals.  During our time together, I will be there to assist you in setting and tracking therapeutic goals. I will also walk alongside you through your self-healing journey by providing a non-judgmental and safe environment where you can work through what matters most to you. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults.
